How much should I expect to pay a dealership to charge my AC and replace my Drier Pack?

Is this the spot on the bottom of the condenser that you'd take the old one out and put the new one in? Any tricks to replacing it?

I wrecked and replaced the condenser and two of the lines last December. The entire systems been down for over a year. I thought I'd def need the drier pack replaced. I thought it'd be included with the recharge service. The new condenser is a Denso and I bought the Denso drier pack for replacement.

I took my truck to the dealership yesterday. I was quoted $255 for full service. After I asked for the drier pack to be replaced along with the service the price went up to $752. I declined.

How would you guy go about this? Just replace it yourself before you pull up for the recharge?

If you replaced the condenser (came w/a new filter) and the system wasn’t open to the atmosphere, it’s ready for recharge. If not, looks like you should be able to replace it without too much trouble.IMG_0370.jpg

I installed the condenser and new lines last fall. I've yet to have it charged. So it's been a while.

Looks like the pack is changed out the top. The picture I posted was of the bottom.

    Thanks.

I believe it’s changed from the bottom. It’s just upside down in the illustrations because it’s being worked on removed from the vehicle.

Yeah I just looked on the truck and the top has a plastic bracket that's riveted in.
