hoping it works on my 2014 off road

Damnit! Back to the drawing board for me. I completely ripped the plastic wire connector apart so it’s not even like I can just reattach mine.

It is a bitch to get the old sharkfin out, you have to dropp a majority of the headliner, as the locking nut is on the inside of the cab, so removing the headliner is the only way to access it.

DM me if you want my OEM shark fin. I have only the top piece as I did the delete recently. I have no use for the old one. 2015 TRD Off-road.

Good write up but funny at the same time. My wife wasn’t gonna buy a taco because of this ugly fuckn shark fin. Her words.
Then I kept pointing out all the other cars that have the same antenna.
After making fun like “ taco shark dodo dodo dodo Subaru shark dodo dodo dodoo. She decided to bend. Now we’re looking for a roof rack so the shark can hide. Haha

I found that the rear seat rest had to be removed in order to allow the C-Pillar to be removed. The C-Pillar has to be removed in order to release the headliner. It is doable by a newbie (at least I figured it out) but I wouldn’t call it easy.

Prototype designation. Helped me keep different prototypes separate and to identify which design changes were positive and which were negative modifiers.

@Anderson not sure if you can help, but do you think I could do this to the coax wires to get back the functionality of the Shark Fin? Since my blue connector harness is ripped to shreds and nowhere to be found online.

This is a replacement antenna cover for the factory “shark fin” on the 2012-2015 Toyota Tacoma model trucks.
