Replacing the Shocks or Struts not the springs

    Well dod the shocks. What do I tork the top 3 bolts and bottom nut to? also the back shock top and bottom? anyone know? I am getting my tire place to do them when they rotate my tires next Sat and do a wheel alignment.

    Don't worry too much about specific torque. Snug is fine

    Also try to tighten the lower shock bolt with the weight of the vehicle on the ground so the control is fairly flat and at normal ride height. If you tighten it with the control arm drooping it can rip the bushing when it rotates.

    Do you guys out that goop on the 3 top bolts? so they don't reverse?

    Yes second pic is for the rear shocks. For peace of mind you could put some blue thread locker on em but shouldn’t be needed

    I got the tires rotated after I replaced the front shocks and they said I really didn't need the alignment because I was just slightly out. These are the numbers. I know nothing about them so post em here.
