Photos of the amp rack, amps, and others you may want to share? Thanks.

minor, TRD skid plate, front recovery points, Regken mud flaps, rear diff breather, AC drain pipe extended. Upgraded sound with active sub woofer, tonneau cover, CB radio.
Absolutely same result for me - very reasonable budget and very good result, at my point!

My Kenwood DMX1057XR, with the assistance of the Maestro, not only retains all factory controls and options, but adds several (like the gauges). I have sirius, HD radio, wireless android auto/apple carplay, wireless mirroring, etc. You can even customize the steering wheel controls. The only thing that I have noticed missing is the navigation display between the speedometer and tachometer...which I rarely used.

While mine does not have on-board navigation, I believe it is an option. Rather than having on-board navigation, I prefer the continually updated google maps. In terms of when I lose signal, I keep offline maps saved on my phone for trips. Also, with the monster-sized screen I love using the satellite view for navigation. :)

I'd love to replace the OEM stereo.....but......everything is out of stock.

    So, I wait.

Even speakers are becoming a hard to find item.

    So, I wait.

You should be able to set up notifications on Crutchfield for items that you like.

Ok.....so, I wait in queue........I still have to wait.

I'm in no hurry. Sooner or later, things will begin to return.

Meanwhile, we get to deal with another round of Covid and the non-vaccinated attending super-spreader events. :der::facepalm:

I did, the Tacoma is one of the few newer model vehicles out there were it’s still easy to take out the oem headunit. Some newer cars headunit are waaaaaayyy to integrated into the dash and everything else. Love that Toyota made it easy.

I kept mine. Ended up using an lc2i line out converter, kicker door speakers, kicker key amp for the doors (way better) and an alpine mono amp pushing a shallow 12” woofer behind the rear seat.

Very cool! How does all the trucks menu settings work with this? Do you have the multi terrain monitoring camera system?

compared to what I have grown up with, this one is fantastic. Last aftermarket I put it was in my 84 mustang lol.

I just did a little adjustment on the sound with this one through the OEM controls and have had zero issues.

What’s the head unit? Definitely like the volume knob, seems like hard to find on the big screen units.

My Kenwood also has a volume knob. I have forgotten how much I missed it. :)

So with that big unit how do you get the radio surround off? Do you have to unhook the whole receiver each time?

For the Kenwood, it takes tilting the screen downward, loosening a couple screws and unplugging the display.
