    Hey Y'all,

Was getting the oil changed the other day and the mechanic said I had an oil leak and that I would need to replace my valve cover gasket.

What all do I need to purchase to complete this job? If you can, please leave a link where I can get a kit/parts.

    Thanks,
    Trapper

I'd replace valve cover gaskets and the spark plug seals also and the washers around the bolts that hold the covers on with that many miles,, I used OEM but a good Fel-Pro set would suffice.

E-Bay has great OEM kits at a fraction of the cost.....as far as what you need is, tools, time and patience...LOL nah not to bad of a job. Since you are going to have it apart I highly recommend replacing your Cam seals(caps), they are probably leaking as well....new plugs and wires too....sorry was going to post E-Bay links but for some reason my govt computer denies E-Bay access....damn now what am i gonna do, work?

check to see if they're loose. Mine were so loose I could finger turn 'em. I snugged them up and no more leaking.
