Replica OEM Toyota wheels

What do y'all think about replica wheels? I am looking at Toyota 4Runner limited wheels and maybe a replica set. They're a little wider than the OEM, and idk if I should spend the money on it.

I'd also look at these (also from a 4runner) I read somewhere that they're close enough to stock width/offset that won't affect your ride:

 

Buying that kind of stuff on eBay of all places has always made me nervous. But do your research and go for it if you want them. Someone in the classifieds here sold some like the ones above me, and they looked nice, sold quick if I remember right.

 

Those are nice and maybe get those one day. But I like the 20" limited wheels for some reason. But it's been a pain in the ass to find tires, and now just the wheels haha. The replicas are looking better because of its width. But I'd like some more opinions before I buy

 

I just ordered a set from a toyota dealership from the east cost. These are the 4Runner trd pro wheels. Here's the site

I called to make sure it was an actual toyota dealership. Servco wanted 310 a wheel.

 

How much did shipping run? Because big island toyota wanted 800 a rim for the 20" limited wheels

 

They quoted 150 ups to my door, but I shipped them to a friend in Cali and I am having him put them on one of his containers he is shipping over. It was 40 this route. These are the black ones in the picture not the 20inch limited 4Runner wheels.

 

Even 150 isn't too bad.

Yeah 150 is still good. I'm curious to see if it's 4 separate boxes or one big box. Once my friend gets them he's gonna inspect and get me some pics.

Yeah I was nervous too but I called and they convinced me. If not then oh well I got replicas but it seemed legit when I called.

 

I wonder if they'd send pictures of the wheels. And stamps. I'm gonna give them a call tomorrow.

 

They might even be able to get you the limited wheels.

 

Yeah I see they have two 20" wheels. Different part numbers. Don't know which is which haha. Gotta call

Big island toyota wanted 899 each. I called auto customs today. Said the wheels are 1300 a set. And they have one with the gunmetal gray trim. I wanted the black trim ones. And they also said they would price match to the price I had on ebay

 

The gray are cool also

 

I can't be a gray rider though. Need to be a black rider

 

I payed 807 otd for a set of the black ones from my local dealership. They were shipped from the East Coast.
