They sure can be. Total pains when they are young generally but great after their first year once you work with them typically.

I'm in the process of moving things downstairs in the new house. The frogs were the first to move before the summer heat sets in and bakes the poor things.

Just need to buy another batch of pvc enclosures here finish getting everything to match and have final adult sizing

I'm over in Canada so we have different suppliers not sure if it would be worth the shipping across the border. But I order from....
    https://canadianmouseman.com/

I just do larger orders then pick them up at the 2 expos we have here. I think my last order was 100 adult mice 100 weaned mice 16 small rats 20 chicks 50 hopper mice for 300 or so

Now that it's getting warm enough the critters can get outside to really show off. Our children's python had just shed and damn was her iridescence in full show.

Ahh didn't realize you were in Canada.
Im really digging the children's python. My brother sent me a picture of a high white desert kingsnake and was like you should buy its cheap. Turned him down told him that wasn't a cheap price. I got both of my kings for under 100$. Im not paying 350 for a king

Even in canadian pesos that's really expensive for a king. That's big box store pricing.
Hopefully the viper eats. Anything that's been an issue for me i find feeding really late at night can help.
It's been a bit of a shedothon over here in the past 24 hours. Childrens, spotted and now the olive have all shed. It's unreal how much the sheds stretch. The olive is a bit over 5' but the shed is damn near 7 the spotted and childrens are 3-3.5 and theds are bolth 4'

I've tried night feeding him early mornings afternoons. Hard to pin point a good time. Since he rarely eats to begin with.

Iv debated on and off adding a blood or short tailed pythong but every one iv seen just hasn't been overly perky and active. So not quite the characteristics of my preffered species. But they have a damn cool head.

I think i have finally gotten over my vet induced paranoia that every boa has ibd underlying and it will get passed on and kill my pythons. Still going to keep them a bit separated but I'm back to commiting to the one boa breeding project. Picking up the female this weekend her and my male should be mature by next fall tp give it a go. Pairing with be Moonglow x albino motely hey anery. Scoring motely moonglows would be wild.

On another note the olive has decided she has wanted to be a tree snake the past few days.

Black heads are cool but much to pricey up in my neck of the woods. Last I saw they were 5-10k. Womas are an excellent option aswell mine has been great. If your not familiar macklots are awesome to super iridescent. And very arboreal.

I'll check them out. The macklots look beautiful. I've seen them before on TV never seen one in person.

Videos do them no justice at all. I really need to get some good pictures of the critters.
