Just got a cap on my truck today and it has a solid rear window. Considering having it replaced with a slider but I had that for 10 years on my previous truck and I don’t think I opened it once. Therefore, the power sliding rear window is kind of useless.

Any suggestions for ways to repurpose the power slider motor and/or controls?
    Current thinking:
    - spotlight rotation control
    - raise and lower a mobile HAM radio antenna

Sell it to a 3rd gen who doesn’t have one and profit. Those motor assemblies are not cheap from OEM.

Yanno, might be onto something there. Be the "wanna skewp " equivalent to the non power rear window dual cab crowd.

I'd rock the shyte outta a power rear window! I've never opened my manual rear, and don't open the sunroof very often...but I'd use the rear

I also though that it was pointless... until I used it. Seriously, it flushes out the hot, stale air so good. It also eliminates the buffeting from having the windows down.

Dying to get a power sliding rear on my 2016. Miss it big time from previous 4R.
