    Hello,

I'm looking for some reputable mechanics in the RI/Mass area capable of anything from basic maintenance to help installing a lift. Preferably shops you've personally used and had a great experience with. Such as a place where they take time to listen and understand what you want and are on the same page.

I've personally gone to a few in the area and I find every time there's something frustrating that happens.

Any information would be great. How many times have you gone? Specifically who worked with you? What did you have done?

    Thanks!

Trudeau's Auto Repair - I've had them work on several of my cars. They always do good work.

Roger's Tires And Auto Repair - I've had them do suspension work on my Tacoma and previous cars.

These are pretty much the only two places I would trust with my Tacoma. They both work with each other too.

Thumbs up on Rodger's tires in Woonsocket. I've gone twice for different things. Dave is a great guy who will hear you out before he starts the work. Prices are very very reasonable. Will keep going back.

Dave's Imports and Domestics, Willow Street, Woonsocket, RI. (401-766-1158) At least a couple years ago, Dave drove a 4WD Taco. Absolutely no complaints...he was even happy to install a cat-back from Rock Auto on my Jeep (after a local muffler shop quoted me $650!), and an MSD replacement Optispark on my Caprice. (The OE part was ~$500, the MSD was a better unit and was $260 from Summit, including overnight shipping.)

Also, Roger's Automotive, on Main Street (next to the post office) in West Warwick.

I've never been to Dave's imports, but I've heard they do good work. Dave (from Roger's Tire) also drives a 4WD Taco.
