Hey guys, I just bought some of the newer TRD pro gloss black wheels and tires. Looking for someone that has personally used a place in the tampa area to take my TPMS out of my sport wheels and install, mount, etc. the new wheels and tires. Just want to make sure I don't get some bonehead 20 year old that will scratch up the new wheels (no offense to anyone just speaking from previous experience). Thanks in advance!

    Paul

I'll be able to tell you in a few days (maybe this weekend) as I have a shop off Kennedy doing the same and mounting/installing new tires on some Ray10s. I'll be the first person you'll hear scream if they fuck up my wheels, lol. When you looking to get everything done?

Well I'll definitely post up about my experience. I went in and talked with them in person and they seemed knowledgeable about everything, shop seemed clean and organized, so we'll see. Still currently waiting on my wheels, supposed to be here today, I'm sitting here at work with my face glued to the window like a dog on a car trip.

Just got done getting my wheels and tires put on the truck. You wanted a good shop, I'll give you an amazing shop, I used Olin Mott on Kennedy Blvd. These guys were just fantastic! They answered every one of my questions, had no issues balancing or aligning, allowed me to stand there the entire time and oversee the process. I can't give these guys and the shop enough praise, so much so that I made sure to thank and shake the hand of every person who helped work on my truck. They took amazing care of everything and left everything so clean, tight, no stone unturned I guess I should say.

I understand I JUST got the tires done and I wont know for sure if everything is perfectly balanced until I go drive down the highway at 65+ mph, but so far everything is looking great. And they worked with me on every request I had about checking fitment and rubbing before I left the shop.

(OP) Olin-Mott on east Hillsborough Ave.....I've used them on my vehicles since 1999. They are very good at mounting, balancing and alignments.

So first I am going to say, if anyone wants to have this done on their trucks/cars, go to Olin Mott on Kennedy Blvd like @THE_KiRRAx said. The guys there are not only really cool but most importantly they do amazing work, a lot of attention to detail and care taken with your vehicle. I would not hesitate to use them again! So last night I did FOX 2.0 FRS-985-02-002 front struts. Install was a breeze, don't even waste your time with that one video where they drop the part of the A arm that connects to the lower ball joint and loosen the adjusters on the A arm. I just loosened the sway bar and disconnected each tie rod, three bolts on top, one on the bottom, went out and in with no issues. Wheels and tires mounted, TPMS linked, alignment done and here you go:

Looks great man, those Grapplers look aggressive too! Glad they treated you well, those are some good folks there. I almost drove by the place just to see another Tacoma on the lift. XD

LOL! Yeah, when I was chilling in the bays watching my truck get worked on the building next to the place let out, apparently it was a women's cycling class. Almost made me want to pick up cycling again.
