    2021 Off-Road crew-cab LB; Payload capacity: 1,395lbs; all stock.

In order of genuinely most needed changes - what should I do - from mechanical / practical suspension + rim/tires perspective - to balance ability to offroad w/ truck camper + retain ability to tow?

Must do in a few phases to get costs past my wife - stay within my allowance.

Getting a slide-in camper: 1,054lb w/ water etc - will reduce to ~ 875 lbs. Fits in bed / can close tailgate.
Towing: 3800Lb pop-up camper: use only ~ 3x/yr. But, must retain good tow capability.

I expect to do lots of moderate offroading weekend camp trips, lite gear, 2 persons, keeping camper on.

Video (3 Years of Tacoma Modifications for Our Four Wheel Camper - Adventure Out There) says
Four Wheel Campers (900-1300Lbs) 'requires' Offroad LB to have:
    10-ply E-rated tires + rear airbags.

Just moved to desert-like eastern Montana - new to offroading - clueless: I assume dry, rocky, not much mud. Likely too scared to off-road/camp in winter snow. Lite/Moderate off-roading: driving gently and slow. (e.g. maybe skip rock sliders - as I can't afford to go where I could damage my truck).

Maybe use stock rims (16", 265/70R16) for winter/non-camping + towing,
    + get 2nd rim/tires for the offroading?

I like looks of small rims big tires - but no clue how to spec rims + tires.
Maybe no need for mud tires - kind of desert-like here.

Can't bear to chop up front, back, wheelwells.
But, I can't imaging offroading to point that approach/tail clearance matter much.

    Phase 1?
    Per video:
    1 - BF Goodrich K02s w/ ?? rim-size?
2 - bags with ARB twin compressor mounted under hood
(Q: Is there a twin-compressor that allows in-cab, remote tire fill?)
Spring packs, add a leaf, front/back lift kit stuff?

    Phase 2,
    Phase 3: transmission cooler?

    Thank you greatly for guidance.

    Thank you eurowner.
I am reading up on suspension - seeing that my post is too long, and that its not focused enough.
Basically I tow, carry 900Lbs constantly whilst on offroad, or am empty.
