Personally, I don't think there's any reason why you need to know WHO gave negative rep (or pos rep).

As long as there's an explaination WHY, who cares about WHO gave it to you?

What benefit would that do for you? It has nothing to do with MANNING up.
*MANNING UP* is about accepting the negative rep with a grain of salt. Either learning from it or ignorning it completely.

If someone gives you negative rep - people are gonna start giving eachother negative rep because they're pissed. They'll start sending PM's to that person about it...and they'll get all nasty with eachother because of it.

That's not what this forum is about...and the last thing we need, is pissing matches because people are mad at eachother for negative reps. For gawd sake - ignore it and move on.

This may be a stupid question, but how do you actually view your rep?

But that only shows recent rep, right? It says I have 64 rep points, how do I see all of them? It's only showing 3.

that just means those 3 reps were worth enough each that they added up to 64 points. 1 rep is usually worth more than just 1 rep point.

far as i can figure you can't see older rep there. mine only shows the last 5 received. don't see a way to see who i gave rep to either. i just accept it's the way it is.

yeah, actually i do too. really, why should someone feel they need to neg rep someone? shouldnt the rep system just be there to show support or agreement or whatever for a post?
