Looking to run 285/75/16 on my Taco and do not want to do a CMC. Is there a particular backspacing & offset I should be targeting for wheels? I'm looking at the Fifteen52 Turbomac HD Classic which has a 0 offset and 4.5" backspacing. I'm running a 2.5 inch lift on my 2019 OR.

While we're on the topic, does anyone know the backspacing on the 2019 Tacoma TRD Pro wheels? That's what I'm currently running and cannot fine that information anywhere.

And while we're on that topic now, I'll be selling those Pro wheels with 265/75/16 Falken Wildpeaks mounted on them. Tires have 50-60% tread life left. 3 of the wheels are perfect while one has a bit of curb rash on the outside edge. Comes with center caps, which are usually sold separate.

Its not just the wheels that require a CMC. It also has to do with your alignment. Try to get the wheel pushed as far forward as you can, which may not be much with the stock UCAs

I have the Freedom Offroad UCA's with Fox 2.0's and the ICON AAL in the back. Will definitely play with the alignment to make it work. Just want to make sure that 4.5" backspacing doesn't cause an issue. And I haven't seen any info on the 2019 Tacoma Pro wheel backspacing out there.

You want to tuck the tire into the wheel well as far as you possibly can without hitting the UCA, to have the best chance of clearing the cab mount.

People say you can run 255 85 16 on stock wheels (+30 offset) without rubbing the UCA. Therefore I believe you should be able to run 285s at +15 offset without hitting the UCA, because the inside of the tire should end up at the same place as 255s on +30.

This is just based on reading/research so I don't know if anyone with real world experience can confirm.

With an aftermarket wheel, you want to look at a 16 x 8 with 4.5" (0 offset) backspacing will give you the best chance of not rubbing. That's what my truck had and no CMC, but I have the SPC UCA's which allowed me to move the wheel forward more. You still probably need to beat the pinchweld and trim the flares. You could probably get away with 4.25" with -6 offset on the same size wheel but that would put it a little closer to the cmc. Here's my truck with the 16 x 8 4.5" bs 0 offset with 285/75/16 and I had no rubbing.
