reroute exhaust around axle

I'm considering some suspension work that would require me to move the exhaust over about 4" where it loops over the rear axle. It would be very easy to just cut it behind the muffler and make it turn down instead of moving it out and back out to the stock exit.

What issues do Tacoma have when the exhaust exits there? for example, exhaust making it way back in the windows.
