While poking around under my truck I saw that one of my sway bar bushing bolts was quite rusty while the other one was just fine. I found that AC drain tube was dripping right onto the frame and the water was finding its way down to the screw, overtime causing the rust.

I went to my local ACE Hardware (LOVE that place) and found a replacement bolt (head was 13mm instead of 12mm, but it still worked), M8x1.25x35mm with a 8mm washer.

Next I got some 3/8in ID (inside diameter) tubing, about 3 feet of it, and slid it over the drain tube, securing it with two zip ties. I then routed it down the frame where it could drip onto the ground. I just have to check on the hose to make sure it holds up to the engine bay temps (it sits kinda close to one of the exhaust manifolds).

    Check out my build
That's cool, but if I replaced every rusty bolt under my truck it would mean replacing everything. haha
I think most new bolts here are a bit rusty to start with.
