I recently sold my Tacoma TRD Off-Road and was very happy with the resale value of these terrific trucks.
I purchased it from the original owner in Dec/2013 for $15,500 CDN ($11,600 USD) with 148,000 kms (92,000 miles).
Besides regular maintenance (brakes, muffler, oil changes) the truck never let me down.
I recently sold it with 182,000 kms (113,000 miles) for $15,000 CDN ($11,200 USD)!
Three days later i ordered a 2016 Barcelona Red SR5 V6 4x4 access cab. Anxious for new truck to arrive in 6 - 8 weeks.

It seems you did quite well on the resale. I'm surprised at the prices in your area though. They are worth a good amount more down here in the USA.

Maybe seems low because it's an off road with sport wheels and scoop? :notsure:

The truck is a 2005. The original owner (i was the 2nd owner) liked the hood scoop so much he had the dealer install a Sport hood shortly after purchase.

Good eye Big Jarv ... the guy i bought it from in 2013 sold it to buy a new dclb TRD Sport. He had big black after-market wheels and all-terrain tires on the '05 that he wanted to keep so he gave me the 17" wheels and tires from his '14. I didn't mind at all.

As far as the price goes ... keep in mind that the Canadian dollar is currently at an 18 year low. This translate into a low USD conversion ... and a whole lot of Americans buying Canadian trucks! They automatically get a 25-30% discount with the exchange.
