Just a comment, Indian Valley Reservoir has been drawn down to a trickle. That area where he is stuck is normally under water in a normal year. In the second set of pics you can see the high water line high up on the hill in the background. To get to what little water is left you have to go off road a mile or 2 over dry lake bed on which a huge amount of brush has grown up.
Why anyone would take a low ground clearance Lexis off the dirt road and over some pretty rough terrain in Indian Valley is beyond me. Especially by oneself
One last thing, that is a big desolate wilderness area and finding the guy if you don’t know exactly where he is may be quite challenging. Cell phone coverage was quite poor up there, don’t know if it still is.
There’s not much traffic up there during the week, maybe a vehicle or two a day. This guy is in deep shit. I really hope someone finds him and gets him out. Wish it was possible for me to make it up there but it just not possible today or tomorrow.

Not to minimize the predicament the subject is in, but spending the night in the GX is preferable to some hotel rooms I've stayed in.

So he's wheeling in a lake bed and busted through the mud. Happens in AZ all the time.

I'm not a facebook zombie but I don't have Pt's today and can head up there to help. I don't have a ton of recovery straps but can bring food, beer, hi lift, and my usual SAR gear.

I'm not going on a 7 hour trip with crossed fingers. Get us the information needed to coordinate and effect a successful rescue.

    Is he still there?
Is anyone else en route to help?
    Is he alone?
Does he have comms at his present location?
Does he have any other pressing needs?
    Is the vehicle drivable?
Does he have still have fuel?

Pretty much. My buddy offer a ride but he rather spend the night in his Lexus with no cell services. I would go help but my truck is in the shop .

Depending on his comfort level he could get creative with this spare tire and factory bottle jack and do a little road building if he has a shovel.

    Is anybody from Facebook responding?

with no way of contacting the guy, and nobody cruising out to let us know he still needs assistance, driving out there is a bit of a crapshoot.

I don't think circle-jerking this thread will help. Time to call the sheriff's office.

Actually calling the Lake county sheriff dept. is probably the best idea. Let them send a deputy out there and check it out. A deputy use to patrol through there once a day in a 4x4 truck but I don’t know that they still routinely patrol the area.
Besides being remote and desolate that area is loaded with rattle snakes. I’ve seen lots, had one of my dogs get bit by one there and almost got bit myself.

Ever watch 'Matt's Off-Road Recovery' before? I've seen a couple jobs where he simply got into a stuck vehicle and drove it out without having to hook up to it:rofl:
