Leesville is a town in name only. There’s nothing there, no going businesses that I’m aware of. It was stablished in the 1800’s and currently in just a bump n the road. There is no fire dept. there , may be a volunteer department but no one mans it. If the guy made it to Leesville he’s lucky if he found anyone around there to help him. Hope it all works out for him.

Apparently dude was rescued by another Lexus. A video will be uploaded to IG tomorrow.

I got this info from a Bay Area IG page. Not sure how accurate it is.

So what's the story behind all this? How did he get into that situation?

Techie saw a branding sticker or switch claiming "4x4" and "off road".

His IG page shows a recent front spacer lift installation, so maybe he thought he was now unstoppable?

Ah, I see now they are different color GX's, sorry for the assumption lol. I guess the only rationale now is that he figured the GX is basically a Land Cruiser so it's unstoppable in stock form? This coming from the owner of a GX that I have not yet started modding.

Coming down the hill out of Sourgrass with @Motofox, @El Taco Diablo, and @CrashN'Burn a few months back, there was a group of five or six newer Land Cruisers rolling in. I don't remember seeing any skids, and I think they all had steps instead of sliders. I'm real curious how that went.

    Just 3 tons of fun!!!

For real... If they tried to go through the creek instead of the bypass, that was going to be a mess.

Wish I had seen this thread before now. I'm itching to do another Operation Sloppy Taco:thumbsup:

Someone go get their shit stuck at Lake Berryessa.... actually no, don't do that. That mud is a pain in the ass. I think I still have some of it stuck inside my frame. Hey, maybe that's why my truck weighed out at 6000 pounds
