I had to replace both of my access cab side windows thanks to someone wanting to shatter them. I replaced them myself but I can hear air from potential gaps from me not doing a super professional job apparently.

    1) Should I try to add a thin layer of silicone around the outside edge?

    2) Take the inside access door panels off and try to attempt a better seal from the inside?

    3) Take it to an auto glass shop and see if they can reinstall/seal them? I’m not even sure if they can take them off if the windows aren’t broken.

Just curious what y’all’s thoughts are. It wasn’t all that quiet before much less now.

Glass is one of those things that really should be left to the professionals. Their techniques and adhesives are pretty specialized and the last thing you want it whatever adhesive you used to give up while doing 70 down the interstate and send your side window into someone's front windshield.

Plus you should get a warranty on the work and weather sealing.

Yeah definitely regretting not just paying someone the first time. It’s not horrible but a little hissing from each and now it’s all I can hear!
