Resetting alarm system

So a few days ago I unplugged my battery and after re plugging it the factory alarm system went berserk! I couldn't figure out how to reset it. Good thing a mechanic friend was able to come by and help me out. Now i want to install a led light bar but this involve unplugging the battery again. Im just kinda nervous the alarm will go off again. Anybody ever had an issue with this when installing there lo pro bumper led light or there led light bar? Any infos are appreciated!

 

Press unlock on the key fob, or turn the key in the drivers door to the unlock position. If using the fob, the first time usually will silence the alarm and the second time pressing it will disarm the alarm
