Follow up, it turns out it was not software but instead the hw interface board for the environmental controls (dedicated board under the expansion cover on the back of the tablet) the output pin that turns on the compressor was giving a hard ground. the unit was likely shipped to me that way along with this latest NOV2022 software. the vendor drop shipped me a brand new replacement board and i swapped it out myself and reinstalled and it now functions 100 percent properly for the first time since i obtained the unit 6 weeks ago. i decided to do a visual inspection of the removed card with a microscope and found the ground sink for that pin probably suffered from a burn in where the a very slight excess of solder along that trace and one adjacent to it likely warmed up enough during my first extended power up period and caused that slight excess to flow and bridged a ground next to it. I was able to use my micro soldering iron and clean and separate the two traces and then also retested the original board and it works great now too. it was likely just a manufacturing error when the components were being wash soldered and was missed by visual inspection. I looked at both the new and old cards under microscope and cant find any other flaws so ill just write this off as one of those rare quality control misses and chalk it up to now having a spare card for free if i ever need it in the future. AUCAR was completely 100 percent attentive to making sure the issue was resolved in a timely manner and made sure i was 100 percent satisfied. Im very appreciative of their customer support and how they expedited shipment and responded to my request with urgency.

As a potential customer of this product, thank you for your persistence and doing actual troubleshooting and identifying a legitimate fault that will hopefully end up helping them develop an even better product. Your determination is commendable.

@adilneels4 With the AuCar headunits, the first thing I would do is reseat the wiring plug for the AC on the back. Unplug it, and replug and make sure it's snug.

If your AC was working before and stopped.... then I don't know.
