Like the others have said, glad to see you walk away from that. Could've been much worse.

I bet there's a cool second story here after the insurance guys get through with this. Glad you made it. 60' down an embankment sounds scary, its a good thing it was dark and the air bag didn't let you see what was happening.

Don't feel bad about putting your feet up and taking it easy while you're on the mend, looks to me like you've earned that right.

Glad to hear your Tacoma protected you so well through a very scary wreck. I hate black ice. Two years ago I totaled my '09 on black ice. As much as it sucks to loose a truck you've set up for your purposes it's true your survival is the main thing. The truck can be replaced, maybe there is a 2015 hiding on a lot for you somewhere. After shopping around a bit and weighing all my options I went with another Tacoma, a new '13 bought in January of 2014.

Good to see the Tacoma holds up well in bad situations. I just got out of a roll over accident in an Outback a couple months ago. I was not wearing a belt. Even after all this time, I'm still a more aware and careful driver. I hope that keeps up.

I hope the arm heals up quickly.

Have fun shopping for your new truck!

    PS Don't get a 3rd gen.
