Restoring the bluetooth mic

As a privacy advocate, I pulled out the DCM fuse pretty much the day after the Tacoma came home. But the lack of a bluetooth mic is starting to get annoying. I have looked into the antenna-plugging solution which is really nice, but I prefer to dead out the power supply to the DCM rather than relying on an inability to transmit. Does anyone have a clear set of instructions on how to bypass the power to the Bluetooth mic with the DCM fuse pulled out?

Toyota seems to be amongst the better automakers.

(I've looked at whatever I could of the four threads already existing on the forum, I found wiring diagrams but I was wondering if someone had figured out more and would be willing to hand-hold me a bit more)

 

does your usb cable still work, just down load the alexa app, all of this mental gymnastics lol

 

Have you tried running an aftermarket mic?
