All 3 of us who have been working on this project are college students, and finals are in 2 weeks so we are pretty swamped with that. However, we just got the materials in to build 4 complete microphone assemblies, so we should have those up for sale shortly. These first 4 microphones are the drop in solution, NOT retrofit. So stay tuned and thank you for the support!

Edit: We have plans to make more than the initial 4 of these microphones. We just want to make sure everyone is happy with these microphones before we commit to a large order.

I'm still in for the retrofit whenever that comes available.

The first batch of drop in microphone replacements have been made and are ready for purchase. We are selling them for $32.99 + shipping. These microphones have a 3.5mm connector and comes with a 3.5mm to 2.5mm adapter so it should work with most aftermarket head units. Please PM me if you are interested!

Got my mic replacement installed in my 2014 Tacoma with a new Pioneer MVH-2300NEX receiver and couldn't be more pleased. Sound quality is great and I appreciate the factory look.

Many thanks to Kyleinator for creating this fix!

Atomic -- I routed mine down the driver's side under the dash, and right back up to the stereo, securing the mic wire to other wire harnesses along the way for a factory look. The cord to the mic Kyleinator provided is long enough to route it just about any way you'd like to, but I found this to be the most direct. Once you have the replacement mic installed, use a flat trim tool to easily feed the cord across the headliner and then run it down behind the vertical panel (securing it to stay clear of the curtain airbag, if installed), and then simply route it behind the dash and back up to the stereo.
