How often do you do this. Adding new bolts work but eventually loose their bite. What tap should I use?

    Thanks

When I can't get the bolt to thread I retap them.
I have the tap at home I can tell you the size.

It's an M8-1.25. Might want to go bigger, or weld on a new nut to the top of the mounting bracket.
