I put a couple of swing cases in my 2020. They use the space behind the wheel well. Passenger side was very easy.

On the driver’s side the loss of the cubby necessitated using rivnuts for anchors.

I have the gatortrax but think its pretty similar. The cover should close as the swing out cae is below the rail. The only problem might be the locking mechanism. In mine, there 8s a little arm underneath the lock lever that swings down about an inch when rolling the cover, and the pivots up and grabs the rail when you engage the lock.

So when rolling the cover past the swing out case, you may need to watch that and move it if that makes sense...

The release on Swing Case is on the bottom. I have a Peragon cover, no clearance issues.

Have you seen the Pelican Cargo? Specifically in your case perhaps, the bx135? They say it fits under tonneau covers, but so far I’ve seen no evidence of it. I have the Retraxpro xr arriving soon, and have the cross bed mounts for the Pelican here already to see if the tonneau will open/close with them installed. I can check back in if you think that solution is worth investigating.
