I have a ReTraxOne XR tonneau on my 2021 TRD Pro. I've been having an issue where after I drive it for a while, the passenger side opens up a bit. The attached photos show the cover closed and aligned along the bed gate, then the driver's side, which stays where it is meant to because the locking mechanism is right ther, and the passenger side, which opens up. I don't care about the mis-alignment so much, but it opens up enough to make a hole for water, debris, etc.

I have re-aligned the side rails and everything is parallel, and installed correctly.

I wrote ReTrax and they suggested narrowing the rails towards the back of the truck, to slightly pinch the cover in place. The only way I could do that was with the supplied shims, which really only pinched the covers together by a few mm and didn't solve the problem. They're not offering much by way of another solution.

Anyone else having this issue? Solutions? It's a real bummer given how much it cost.

Bed is not square.........at all. It does narrow toward the rear of the truck, and the bed sides will flex as well. The manufacture is on point.

Thanks for your reply Zim. I've got bed stiffeners installed, as well as a rack on top, neither of which allow for flex. And the bars are parallel within a few mm. If my bed did narrow towards the back, it would probably solve the problem...

Wow. Do they have a authorized installer? I'd call them and find out. Your pictures are not showing so I'm having trouble understanding the shim issue. Bottom line is the cover should fit without alot of modification. I'd be on their ass.

Excellent idea. There are a few in my area and I've just written ReTrax to organize a visit. Will keep you posted...

I have the same issue with mine. No help from the dealer or Retrax at all. Very disappointed. How did yours work out?
