Hey folks! I know we just finished a group buy for all Retrax covers but Retrax just released a great promotion for a free Bedrug mat with each PRO MX cover. I figured I'd sweeten the deal and offer another 12%-18% off depending on how many buyers we get. Feel free to call or message with any questions! 1800-653-7089

I already own a Retrax cover and a factory bed mat, but I gotta say, these things are great! I LOVE my Retrax! Don't hesitate.

I've actually been looking into Retrax. I'm on the fence between this and the revolver x2.

Great to hear! What is the main objective you are looking to achieve with a tonneau?

Main use would be cargo space. The 3 month old travels heavy and not being able to keep things out of the elements means having to take the wifes' car every where. For that same reason, I definitely need it to lock. I've actually decided on the retrax, now I need to decide on the poly-carbonate or aluminum version.

Gotcha. All very valid reasons. Do you ever plan on putting weight on top of the cover? Also what type of environment do you live in? E.g. lot of snow in the winter, desert sun, etc.

The only weight I can see on there would be myself (~170 lbs). Possibly a rack in a couple of years, mostly wishful thinking though. I live in south Texas, weather is hot and humid 85% of the year. The occasional freak cold front in the winter time, no snow though. We often go to the beach, so lots of sand time.

I'd recommend the Pro. In the extreme heat the polycarbonate has a tendency to sometimes get a wave in it or get warped whereas the aluminum of the Pro holds up just fine. The Pro will definitely hold you standing on top of it too.

We definitely see heat for the better part of the year. We'll have to do more saving to jump for the Pro though, possibly even need to wait until tax season (hopefully not). Also, do you know if there would be a gap between the cover and the gate due to the sides being more raised than the gate?

How about a discount on the bed rug by itself?
