Has anyone had to make threads on the housing? I know the back piece of the actual projectors comes with nuts to lock it in place. Im trying to fix one of my BX lights but i dont want to ruin the threading on the projectors since its a very tight fit. Or just dremel till i can squeeze it in? (Thats what she said) never had this issue with my first gen. This is for my 4runner.

    Just 3 tons of fun!!!
I believe the threaded portion of your projector just pushes through and you thread the nut on the back side to hold it.

See if it slides in without threading. if not, i would use a file so you can slowly take material away to get it to fit.

My retrofit on the taco fit through the hold and threaded washer style fastener went and held it to the housing
