Those are so awesome. I almost wish I had a white truck just so I could do this.

back at it again! here are some mock-ups (don't mind the dust) they should be done in a few weeks. looks like i have enough parts for 4 builds; 2 for 05-11 (including the square shrouds / one housing is OEM, the other is aftermarket) and 2 for 12-15 (both aftermarket housings).

additional options:
1. MC-R & Panamera shrouds can have either white/amber switchbacks or RGB color changing halos catch is i only have one set of each; the bullet shroud will only have the white/amber halo
2. i have one remote and one RBG Bluetooth controller for the color changing halos
3. i have a set of blue demon eyes (one color only) as well.
4. i do have a set of Panamera shrouds and frames for 05-11 that are still chrome
5. still have some paint left: BSP & SWB

***all parts were ordered from TRS, builds do not include any wiring or bulbs***

I'm afraid to ask how much lol wish I had the funds! I will probably buy a cheap set to get me by and try to retrofit my factory headlights when I actually have spare time.

 

It's worth an ask from this builder! You May be pleasantly surprised!!

I went with him due to his pricing, I’m very pleased and just PM him about what all you want with style and options

Edit: also if you want he can use your factory housings which will save even more money

 

@david.e I'm curious if the older style tacoma housing lights have the same DRL's as the newer models. My current DRL's do not put out much output at all. Basically you can't even tell they are on unless it's dark outside. But I see a lot of aftermarket lights that have bright DRL's kinda like this:



I guess what I am asking basically, is how can I get my factory housings to have bright DRL's? LED's? Also I think that mine are on the outer edge of the housing and not on the inside like above. So would I need newer housings in order to achieve this? What I was thinking was trying to reuse the factory housings and just buy a cheapy <$100 set of lights to get me by while the new ones are being built. But I want the DRL's to be on the inside of the housing like the above pic and didn't know if that could be achieved with an older(07) style factory housing.
