Retrofit headlight ?

I bought a set custom built retros
I don’t know much about them here’s what they are
D2s 5.0 projectors
Rbg demon eyes/halo
With xbt color controller
My question is the halos only work with the xbt controller, should they work without all that extra bt stuff hooked to them. Seems like they should to me but I’m new to all this.

Welcome to TW! I believe there are a ton of different options via the controller. i am just about to start building mine, but from my understanding there is a ton of different settings. The retrofit source is a great place for information. I bought everything from them. They have a ton of youtube videos, and you can also give them a call. There is a lot of information on here as well. If you click on the search menu enter in what you want to find in the lower bar that says google. It will bring up a lot of threads on retrofits.
