I'm about to retrofit my headlights this weekend and I'm just wondering what else I could possibly need. I'm going to black out everything because my truck is debadged and blacked out. Is there a certain type of paint that I need to be using? Hi temp? Thanks

I've read a lot of guys use krylon fusion paint. Its a paint for plastic, but idk if you NEED the hi temp. I read were one guy put the final coat in hi temp. I'm wondering the same question.

How long did you let the paint dry? Cause I've heard problems of like the piant fumes fogging up the headlight when its sealed back together or something. Idk or maybe it was something to do with moisture.

Pretty sure it has to do with moisture.

However, I painted it during the day and let it dry over night. Then I get everything where i wanted it. Then next day I sealed it up. So I suppose I let it dry for two days before I sealed everything up.

Thanks guys. I used sarin krylon fusion and let it sit overnight. I'm off today so I'm gonna try and have this wrapped up a little later.

I didn't. I wish I would have. When my package from TRS came in, they said to just prime and paint so I did that. The finish isn't flawless, but I'm satisfied.

Im not sure about the reflector bowl but I just soaked my shroud in bleach for a few hours and it ate all the crome off. They came out glossy and dang near perfect. I didn't even repaint and still prefect a year later.
