So I just order everything I need for a retro fit as my next mod. I'm a amateur painter noting like a pro but not a beginner. And I have color match paint for my outer shroud witch will be pyrite but I'm going to be paint the inner shroud/bowl black is their a tipe of paint to use bc I know that HIDs get HOT! I could use heat paint but will it bond well with the plastic even if I scuff it. Or did regular paint hold up for you guys out their with retrofits? Need help plz thanks guys!

Scuff the surface of the shroud first and make sure its really clean (Rubbing alcohol or a de-greaser works fine). A lot of members have gotten away with the Krylon fusion paint cans which are super cheap at the hardware store and after its fully cured it holds up pretty well to heat from the HIDs.
