I purchased a complete fx-r stage iii kit in November, I will attach the printout for the specifics for everything I ordered also. I also ordered a new set of TYC headlights so I would have a new set of headlights to do the retrofit on. After having both sets of halos slowly go out and having one of the shrouds slide off the projector I am trying to figure out if I want to sell everything or suck it up and fix the issues. The halos are being warrantied out currently so I will have two new pairs of the switchback halos. Basically just looking for advice on how much they would be worth in the condition they are in or just a kick in the butt to fix them.

The guy who owns TRS is a member here, contact him and find out if he'll help you with your issues.

Well, I wouldn't sell everything. You're gonna lose money that way. Having to buy more projectors. Just use your current projectors and maybe sell the headlight housings.. Sorry to hear the halos are still having issues.. same problem with mine. After 3 attempts I finally gave up. Got tired of messing with them. I have new headlights/projectors/halos waiting to install. If the new halos go out again, I'll just remove them and never go back. As far as the shroud coming off, a couple dabs of jb weld would hold them on. I used silicone so it'd be easier to remove later if need be but it outgassed and that was not cool. Someone else might have a better idea what to use to holdit on without it being a pain to remove later on if need be(for the shroud). Good luck! Retro looks nice though man!! Loving the whiteout look.

I have already spoken with TRS and the are going to warranty out the halos. I know it's not their fault and they are being very helpful in getting everything resolved.

Don't get me wrong. Trs is great. Especially their customer service as well as their products. They took care of me multiple times as well without a hitch. But, the halos have been having issues since day one. I really want them to work and all but it's just a major letdown when I've gotta split them multiple times to fix. They're supposed to last a long time. I think it's still an issue with the heat. And there's probly not gonna be a fix for that. It'll probably always be a high maintenance item. Hopefully you'll get lucky and the new ones will work for a while. Which luck seems to be a factor with those. Some work great for a long time. Others burn out shortly after install... So yeah I say give it a shot and hope for the best the second time around.

The pictures of the halos lit up were after three weeks. I was pretty upset to say the least.
