They sent me the normal osrams when I ordered the CBIs so they sent me the cbis and I didn't notice any difference between the two except the CBIs had the gay blue tint to them so I got my refund and kept the osrams

Do all of the CBIs have a blue tint to the light output? I see plenty of the higher kelvin temp bulbs that look blue when you stare into them, but the light output was still white.

The whole purpose of the CBIs is the blue tint but the same amount of light as the standard 5ks cbi stands for Cool Blue Intensity

And the blue tint is where the projector actually shows the full color spectrum. I have a blue line across my whole beam pattern

Hmmm. Not sure then. I may have to get both and see what kind of view and visibility I get.

Honestly it'll come down to whether you want your lights to constantly have a blue hue to them

I would prefer they didn't really. I want the nice, pure white.

I think I am right on this, but let me know if I am not. Since I am converting to the Morimoto D2 mini, and it uses a shutter for the high-beam setting, I don't need a high/low bulb, yes? Just an H1 xenon?

Yes. I know. The correct bulb for the D2 Mini is the H1 xenon. I just was checking to see if I still needed a Bi-xenon high/low bulb, or just a single 55W bulb.

I stand corrected! The catalog I looked up had the wrong information in it. You were right, the D2s are the correct fit.

    3 questions

    1) How long does it take you to make these?

    2) How difficult is the wiring for someone that doesnt really mess with wiring?

    3) How long will you keep your services going?

    1. Right now not long at all. Will have it done in a week or less once I have all the parts.

    2. Very easy. Not hard at all, tons of write up instructions on here

    3. As long as people want the lights and I have free time

    Decent price...

What kit are you using when doing these? D2S Stage 3 or Mini H1?

The mini H1s unless someone wants the D2s and it'll be a little extra. Probably about $60 more

They sound interesting, im looking for some better lights. If I got these would it be a waste to get a 40" radius light bar with spot beam pattern? Would the HIDs go out just as far? What are the difference in the bulbs? I want the brightest you can get, which I think is 5000k, black housing (Dark green truck) and white halos. It is an 03 Tacoma. Also are they easy to aim and sort of street legal?
