Hey all. When putting on a new suspension, do you typically reuse hardware like lower shock mount bolts? I know that reusing things like U Bolts is a no no. My truck has 120k so I'm thinking it would probably be good to freshen everything up.
If not, do you go with new Toyota hardware or just high grade components from the hardware store?
    Thanks

No, you can reuse all factory hardware as long as it is not damaged or has rust that has cut into the bolt itself. U-Bolts like you said do need to be replaced.

My new suspension came with bolts so I didn’t have to reuse them. For the rears I would get fresh bushings tho

you are good on reusing all the bolts up front so long as they are good (no rust, no thread galling, not stripped).

U bolts out back... you can go either way, I reused my OEM U bolts so many times in different stages of trying to deal with driveline vibes and AAL.... with no issue, but i always made sure to lube them before removal so tread galling didnt occur

Thanks for the replys. The general theme on my truck is rust so I guess I'll just have to see what I have to work with when it all comes out.
