    None as of yet
Does the backup cam anytime require splicing of factory wires?

I'm interested but don't want to void my extended warranty.

Yes, two spliced behind radio, and two behind the truck bed light switch.

You have to splice the grey 12v reverse signal wire behind the head unit. You can use T taps for the remainder of the connections. That's what I did anyhow

Yes. Like other have said this kit requires you to cut/splice one wire.

You will also have the option of splicing into the remaining 3 wires, or you can use T taps or another preferred method of your own.

Shoot me your email in a PM

I'll send you a copy of the install guide. You should be able to get a warm and fuzzy from it as far as what you'll be doing.

I finally had time to install mine.

    Here is my review.....

Total time to install was about one hour. I took my time and was extra careful not to scratch anything during the time that the radio is out of the dash.

The instructions are perfect. Easy to follow, and good pictures. There's even a detailed section on how to splice wires for those who aren't familiar with the process.

Everything works perfectly. The camera pops up instantly when you hit the switch. This is going to be outstanding for keeping an eye on my trailer when I haul parts back to the shop.

The only thing I would change about the directions: Instead of suggesting to pry out the cubby hole panel, it's much easier to completely remove the entire panel under the steering wheel. Just loosen a couple 10mm bolts, and it comes right off. That gives excellent access to the cubby and to the wires that you need to splice, and then there is no risk of marring up the cubby from prying it out.

So does this override anything on the display? Are their certain things that it wont override? Does it prevent HDMI from working in if used with a harness? Does it cut out audio or phone talking if used?

Pulling the trigger. We went on a road trip. Why cant the "nav anytime" be connected to the Passenger Airbag On Circuit. Passenger becomes the Navigator and DJ.
