It looks like it is a power issue. When I measure the voltage with the vehicle in P it reads ~30mV. When I shift into reverse it reads ~130mV. Is there something I'm missing from a wiring perspective, or could the soldering job be just that bad? I've read in other threads where folks had to connect to the reverse wire, but that's not reflected in the wiring diagram that came with the maestro.

I verified the multimeter using a fresh battery.

And that is for sure in DC colts and not AC right?

the soldering job is good enough. I’ve seen far worse, and it’s better than what most people do (twist the wires and tape it up)

Off the top of my head I’m not positive if it’s supposed to supply 6v or 12v, so I wouldn’t hook up the reverse wire just yet. I would reach out to iDataLink’s customer support because they are AWESOME. They can for sure help you figure out what’s going on. And they will know if it’s supposed to get 6v or 12v.

I would also pull the maestro module and re-flash it on the computer just in case the flash got messed up. Not common, but possible.

Definitely DC. I'll try reflashing and reach out to maestro if that doens't work. I appreciate the help.

I think I’ve seen this issue once before with a RR in a Subaru (basically a Toyota) but I don’t remember what the solution was. Keep me posted on what iData says

From my install report (installation occurred over the past week) of a Kenwood HU with Maestro RR:

"Upon installation, the rearview camera did not appear on the screen. This was solved by iDataLink customer support; they uploaded a custom flash to my account and told me to connect the yellow/black wire from the maestro harness to the black wire on the OEM reverse camera harness (the yellow/black wire replaced the blue/yellow wire from the original instructions).

Lesson: Don't spend a lot of time trying to solve this problem via google. Just call customer service (idatalink's CS keeps business hours, though)."

Perhaps your camera will work without the custom flash. Just change the wire I indicated above. Otherwise, you will have to wait until tomorrow to get the custom flash from iDataLink customer service.

    This fixed it thanks!

The support guy said that I had to both change the wiring and flash the custom firmware. I didn't try just changing the wiring. Thanks to both @lil_buddy and @destin_meeks for your help!
