I plan on adding some flush mount Cube lights in my rear bumper. Would I want them to be flood lights, or spotlights? For driving in a forward Direction I definitely want spotlights, as they project much further out in distance. But what about slower driving in reverse?

Shit bolted onto other shit, and junk.
Floods. Spots will reflect back too much light if angled down off smooth pavement and white out your camera. I have 10w with 4 LEDs and they are floods. Works well and almost needs tinting as they are bright.

Thanks. Wasn't sure how far floods really shine.

Floods. You are more concered with width of light coverage for reversing rather than distance and narrower beam pattern(spot)

The other reason you probably want to go with a flood pattern is that when you flush mount them in your bumper, you're kind of screwed on aiming. The face of the rear bumper is actually tilted downwards just a bit, so if you went with spot beams, you'd be burning two holes in the ground not too far behind your truck. With flood beams, at least you'll have some useful light to spread out and around.
