Reverse squeak sound?

This is a video I took of something my truck has been doing lately. It only does this in reverse, but it's some kind of weird squeak noise. Anybody ever had this happen before or at least know where it would be coming from?

 

Are you turning or anything when you're in reverse?

Doesn't that remind anyone of an old bed?

What model truck do you have, if its a sport or off-road it should have zerks that require grease every oil change or if submerged even more. Not sure what other models have serviceable u joints.

If you do it yourself you don't have to have the press he uses, just check you tube for good video how to's.

 

I know what A u joint is lol. I asked what THE u joint in this instance is.

Then u have grease zerks, invest in a grease gun. Home depot has a nice small Lucas gun that comes with tubes of grease for pretty cheap. I use the heavy duty but alot use the red-n-tacky.

 

Ok I'll give the grease thing a try first. Thanks for all the info guys.

 

If it is the U Joint and it is making that " noise " grease may delay the replacement, but if it were mine I would replace it ASAP even if the grease quiets it down.

 

Yep, i was suggesting a grease gun for future use so that the go bad again.

 

Omg I just had a flash back. My truck made that exact same noise and only in reverse too and it was a u joint .
