As promised. These tires definitely kick ass off road. Aired down to 18psi and never had a bit of issue on any trail we took. Steep muddy rutted out trails that other guys had to take a couple shots at I would make on the first try. One particular hill called peanut butter hill an FJ had to be pull up after he tried 5 times. I went right up it after we got him moved. Very very impressed with how these tires performed today

    Just installed 265/75/16

More "hummm" to them than the hancocks dynapro ATMs but that is to be expected.

I'm liking the looks and deeper thread

They definitely have a little hum to them. But I don’t think it’s to much IMO. I like a little bit of tires noise. They did killer for me off road last weekend and definitely hooked up good it some sticky peanut butter consistency mud.

Just placed my order, will be interesting to see how they compare to my Cooper ST Maxx that I'm replacing.

I think they are very similar (cooper owns DC) I’m not sure how the st maxx ride but I’ve got buddies that like them a lot and I know they do well off road. I would honestly think the DC’s are just as good in every way. But I can’t say 100% as I’ve never owned them. You’ll have to get back with us and let us know how you think they compare. I’m interested to know

My Cooper's have about 42,000 miles on them, they still have tread left but not quality tread. I typically replace tires around 40-45K, at that point most of the edges have rounded off, the siping has worn and performance has degraded.
Prior to the Cooper's I had BFG KO2'S and they came off early due to poor wet weather performance and a choppy ride.
I will post up when I get them on.

I’ve heard more bad than good about KO2s.

I have been running mine for about 5k miles now. I had a set of Cooper ST Maxx tires on a 4Runner years back and find this tire to be very similar, just a much better price and lighter. Previous tires include the Falken AT3 and Ridge Grappler just for comparison's sake. These are definitely more towards the MT spectrum, but the noise is still pretty bearable for a pretty aggressive tire.

My tires made it to the shop, they get mounted on Sunday. They look great, slightly more aggressive than the St Maxx.

Sucks that they don't offer these in skinny 33s 255/85r16 :(

Still got some life left on my StMaxx, maybe in a year or so they'll offer the EXPs in skinnies. Would love to do the STMaxx again but man they are getting more and more expensive every day it seems

I was going to go that route as well but I just couldn’t get over the price and they’re fairly heavy if I remember correctly

Yeah the STMaxx in 255s are about 55lbs per tire if I remember right. But they're very strong tires with the E rating so it's a fair trade off for me

Are these tires rated for snow? (Is there a little snowflake on them, I can't tell from the pictures).
