    I had my mount installed before the remote starter/ alarm.

    I have been a member of this Forum since March 2011. It is fitting that my first post be to say thank you to Gerald for a wonderful and innovative product. Gerald, I received 555 today and installed it immediately. No problems encountered and the results are all I had hoped for. I will enjoy the benefits of this bracket daily for a long time.
    The other reason for not posting previously is that I have just had so much to learn from this group and so little of substance to offer. Your collective knowledge has helped me to accessorize and enjoy my truck over the past two years. It's why I have in channel visors instead of stick ons and N-Fabs instead of OEM steps. It's why I have Weathertech Digital floor matts instead of something from AutoZone. And lots of other nice things to boot. Most all of my decisions regarding my truck are delayed until I can do some research on this Forum. So, to all of the members of this forum who so generously contribute their experience and advice to us newer Tacoma addicts, I say Thank You! :)

    I installed mine after my back surgery and so I havent been driving much/at all. I went for a quick drive today and didn't even notice the bracket. Its like the mirror is supposed to be in that position from the factory. I forgot all about the bracket until I got home and realized that I didn't come close to running over any pedestrians while turning right. Everybody should have one of these brackets.

    The alarm antenna the installer mounted right above my mirror in the spot the gizmo goes to relocate the mirror.
