Sorry, on my phone, will these work on a 2013?

 

Looks that way some 2013 guys on page 32 have it and installed.

 

I'm having some difficulty on this install.

I have the basic mirror with no electronics and I'm reading the reviews of how easy it was to install yet I feel I'm gonna have to use some serious force and wasn't expected.

Basically I'm trying to push the whole unit up from the base of the window and it does not seem to be coming off easily. I'm as supposed to get the mirror itself off first, then move onto the base unit attached to window?

 

I have one in my 2012 now and I love it!!

 

Sweeet mod, Thanks for quick turnaround. For those of you with alarm antenna placed next to mirror, I was able to leave in place because mirror moves forward with new bracket..

Just got around to installing mine. I'm liking it. Very easy install. I wonder if people having trouble, i.e. can't get the mirror off, are missing loosening the t20 torx screw. It kind of hides in plain sight.

 

This should be the first mod for anyone on TW.

I'm 6'3" tall and this mod is in the top 3 favorites of mine so far. I can't believe the windshield real estate this reveals.

Even the instructions were folded as to fit in the return envelope, so I didn't even need to waste a sheet of paper to wrap around my cash payment!

Yes it works for a 2012.

pm ImMrYo with your name and mailing address. He will send the bracket and instructions. Then you send money order, check or cash back in a prepaid envelope he provides. Simple and a must have mod

This bracket seems to work with all Gen II ('05-'13) Tacoma mirrors, wired or not and with screw or "clip on" type mounting. It will allow you to raise the mirror high enough to touch the headliner (almost but not quite w/ some clip on's).
After reviewing all the posts and you want one....Simply PM "ImMrYo" and leave your full name, address and zip. I will then ship pre-paid, via USPS, one bracket and a self-addressed, stamped envelope (Can. unstamped) for your prompt remitance of $30 (US) $38 (Can).
