I PM'd today. I have had my new 2013 for only a few days and only 3 grips.

    1. The Mirror is too low, soon to be solved.
    2. 1st gear in manual is a little short, same a my daughter's Fiesta, so somewhat used to it.
    3. I'm ok with the low seating, but getting my right leg in is difficult sometimes, I'm, not a huge guy, but not small by any means: 230 lbs, 6 ft tall, but somewhat big legs from decades of mt. Biking. My steering wheel is at top tilt also. Also, on seating position/steering, to be comfortable working clutch I need my seat back, but puts me too far from steering wheel even telescoped all the way. The telescoping just needs a hair more, maybe 0.5 to 1 inch.

    Other than that, love it.

I have the oema bluebtooth mic above my mirror. Would the bracket still work?

Just installed mine and all I can say is WOW! This was definitely a major design flaw by Toyota. Thanks Gerald for making such a great product! Check will be in the mail on Monday for #561!

Installed the bracket today for my 2006 with clip on mount. As I learned from this thread, just twist the plastic cover to expose the mirror hardware, i pulled the bottom tab towards me and up on the whole mirror, it popped right off. Slid the mirror onto the bracket, then bracket onto windshield. Was a 2 min. install. Works great, definite improvement, thanks Gerald. Payment in the mail on Monday, #587.

Got mine today, installed while waiting for my son at football practice. Holy S***, awesome mod, easy, professional manufactured bracket, and some much better visibility. I was able to reuse the one plastic wire holder, c-shaped.

BTW, I used to have a 2007 FJ cruiser and I do remember the mirror being in the way on that vehicle also you should post on their forum to see if the bracket might work for them as well.

Tonight, I jacked up my rearview mirror and slid a new truck under it… At least, that’s what it feels like! Wow, what a difference! Now, I’ll be able to actually see the pedestrians before I run over them.

The most difficult and time-consuming aspect of the installation process was, by far, cleaning the fingerprints off the mirror!

Gerald, you’ve created an incredible product; well engineered and superbly finished. THANK YOU!!!:)

    Cheers,

    Roger

    Such a cool mod ...

Thanks to all for posting recent pics/reviews, I'm finally convinced. PMed info this PM. ( In all honesty I'm very unmechanical and was/am worried about install and this was why I delayed so long. )
