PM ImMrYo and put your name, address. He will send you the part with a self-addressed envelope back to him. Send it back with $35.

Purchased this mirror bracket recently, and decided it was not going to do much in my case. I am not tall enough to really have any issues with blind spots out front.

I would like to see if anyone would like this bracket. I already had sent payment to ImMrYo, so I don't want to have to return it to him, although he is fine with that. I would prefer to see if anyone wants it. Still in original packaging with the instruction sheet, bracket, and hex key. $30 - postage included. I will take paypal. PM if interested.

    Thanks.

    SOLD

Installed #811 tonight. Spent quite a bit of extra time to cut the headliner to fit the lower plastic cover to give a slightly more factory look near the headliner (45 minutes very carefully trimming until it was just right). The entire thing now couldn't look any better if it came like this oem. Worked perfect. This is a mod that was absolutely necessary for me at 6'2" and I can't thank you enough for providing this IMMRYO; +Rep to you! This makes my drive much safer given I can actually see in that direction now.

The check is in the mail!

Just want to chime in here what a HUGE difference this makes. If you're 6ft or taller, you'll love this bracket. Big props for coming up with this and then helping everyone out and offering it to us. I love this thing. :)

What am I doing wrong here??? I get the mirror on the bracket at this obscure angle but can't get it to slide down from there.

It looks all off kilter. You have to slide the mirror up under the headliner just a bit if I remember correctly. Then it should slide nicely down on to the new bracket.

Also, are you sure your new mounting bracket is all the down as far as it will go on to the OEM plate that is attached to the windshield?

I actually found it easier to attach the mirror first and then slide the bottom part onto the button securing with the setscrew. I had much more leverage to make sure the mirror was seated properly prior to attaching to the windscreen.

Tried it a few times. The new bracket was definitely all the way down and the mirror was on the track but the top of it hits the roof at a weird angle not allowing me to slide it down.

Tried this as well but couldn't get it down. I'm gonna fiddle with it some more tomorrow when it's done raining.

I believe it may be something simple we are overlooking.
    Two questions.
    1. Has your windshield been replaced at some point in the past and the button reattached a little closer to the top?
    2. I will assume you do not have the clip on type of mirror so is the setscrew backed out sufficiently?

Got it installed today (#747). Not sure what I did differently this time. Loving the extra visibility out of the windshield.
