Hate to kill the buzz, but couldn't you just glue another $2 mounting tab to the windshield slightly above the OEM one? Or am I being ignorant?

That would probably work, but this is easier and worth the little $$ extra to me for the convienence of a 2min bolt in job. I also don't have to try and remove the original piece glued to the windshield with the possibility of braking it, and this mod can simply be removed or even transferred to another truck in the future.

You can, and its been done and iirc posted on tw already.

I do like this option better tho... 1 bolt and that's it...... Plenty of r&d by the seller, perfect fit, sets mirror in the right spot, and can be removed easily if u move onto another Tacoma and want to take it with u, and leaves this truck with no glue/tape residue to remove.

Its well worth the money IMHO, but we all paid good money for these trucks and in all fairness have the right to do whatever we want to them.

Use whatever method you prefer, its ur truck.... But I will stand by this product 100%, just as the seller does.
When is the last time u were sent a fully operational product for free, along with instructions and proper tool to install, asked to use it for a few days, then only after YOU decide whether you like it or not, u are asked to drop a check into a stamped PREPAID, enclosed envelope?

Maybe I'm being lazy, but how do you order these things. I'm on my phone and can't find a place to order or have a desire to look through all these pages.

Number 913 received and installed today. Very fast shipping and a pleasure to deal with. The bracket is well made, comes with installation instructions, even the allen head wrench to mount it. It took under 5 minutes to install and made the difference I was looking for , much more visibility over the dash and got rid of the blind spot the mirror was causing. Payment is going out in Tuesday's mail, Thank you.

Finally had a chance this afternoon to install #891. Job went off without a hitch and the install took less than 3 minutes start to finish. What a difference! Can't say enough about the overall quality of the part...especially when compared to its cost. Many thanks for your ingenuity and commitment to excellence.
