Best $35 I've spent for my safety. A 6'3 big dog can see now. I'll gladly send the money ASAP. Also, I PM'd him Friday and it showed up Tuesday.

This is one of the best things that I have done to my Tacoma.
When I test drove this truck the one thing that jump out at me was how low that mirror was.

#1184 - check in the mail.

    Thanks!

No wires to my mirror so it took less than 5 minutes to install.
Very pleased with the bracket and prompt delivery.
Really opens up the forward view and didn't seem to change the rear view angle at all. For me anyway.
If you are considering one of these, just do it.

#1177 best mod on my truck so far. I was numb to how bad my field of view was until I relocated the mirror and could actually see again. Payment sent

Very fast response and delivery. I'm Impressed. Order#1196 Check Sent

This is a great product concept...

However, I would be happier if the tolerances between the mirror and the bracket as well as between the bracket and the factory mount on the windshield were tighter. this would provide a more stable mount and only require snugging down the set screws on each. In order to get the maximum lift, the bracket needs to sit above the "bottoming out" point of the channel. The mirror also needs to be adjusted in a similar fashion. If the set screws are not tightened sufficiently, the mirror can wobble up and down as well as side to side. more than one set screw would also be nice as this would provide more grip points and eliminate the possibility that the mirror or bracket could pivot on the one set screw.

I really like what this product does to lift the mirror out of my field of vision. I just think the design could be improved a little. :)

Great mod! I just received mine today and installed it - very easy to do. I don't have a wired mirror, so it was really straight forward. I used a T20 to loosen the mirror from the original bracket - it slipped right off, in an upward direction. I then put the new bracket in place and tightened the set screw (not too tight). Then I mounted the mirror in its new position, tightened the T20, and adjusted the mirror. Done! That easy.

I love the brilliant simplicity of this idea and its design. Nicely done Jerry! The check is going out tomorrow.

When I have time next weekend, I just need to relocate the switch for the camera. I had it mounted through the upper plastic cover.
