Mine arrived in the mail today. It has been installed. There is definite improvement for forward visibility. The blind spot caused by the mirror is nearly eliminated. The rear view in the mirror seems fine, too. The quality of the part is top notch.

Edit: First road test. Ten out of ten. The position is greatly improved over stock. This is a really good modification.

Has anyone experienced a broken windshield from the bracket? Just had my stock 2015 windshield replaced. It cracked near the bracket . When the installer put the new windshield in, then went to install the bracket, new one cracked. They did a second windshield and refused to install the bracket citing it caused the crack.. I had the bracket on for two years and loved it but can’t afford to put it on if it will break the new windshield.

So I traded in my 2013 Off Road for a 2019 Off Road and while I love the truck, I hate that the mirror hangs so low compared to my 2013 with the ImMrYo Rear-View Mirror Lift Bracket. Wish there was one for the 2019, but not sure it is possible with the stupid lane assist camera up there by the rear view mirror. This mirror lift bracket was my favorite mod on my 2nd gen!!!

    Edit...

Figured out my issue for anybody who read the original post. Appreciate the response from @ImMrYo and how quick shipping was. #2157 is installed and looks great. Like everybody else stated, takes about 5 minutes to install it, if you’re not an idiot, which I was. Followed the instructions for removing the clip type bracket (provided with bracket) and it worked perfectly. And everything went together smoothly from there, until I couldn’t figure out why the mirror wasn’t up by the headliner (see mid picture). I tried rotating the mounting arm at the ball at the window but no luck. I somehow missed that the arm wasn’t pushed all the way up (last picture). Be careful when adjusting on the glass side, it takes a lot of force. I found it was easiest with the mirror removed from the one side and the arm attached to the bracket but not the window so you have leverage.

After my mentally slow start, this thing turned out perfect and would absolutely recommend to everyone.

    Before

    Middle (idiot zone)

    After (perfect)

First mod in my new truck, best one ever. #2168, check is in the mail. Someone should start a thread to document how many other cars these fit on (my Subaru needs it!)

I know this is old, just saw it.
For me the answer is no. Sounds like the installer screwed up somewhere. My bet is they put the bracket on before installing the windshield.
When I had my glass replaced, I removed the mirror and bracket and told them I would reinstall myself. No issues.

I just bought my first new-to-me 07 AC Prerunner two weeks ago and am making my first post just for this mod. I'll PM ImMrYo now.

Is there a way to just remove the stock mount and raise it up?

Never heard of anyone trying it, but these are some of my thoughts.....
Only if you have a standard, non-wired, "clip on" mirror you could try gluing a second mount above the OEM one.
Don't know how well the glue holds over the glass fret (sp?) and don't mount it too high or you can't slide the mirror down over the new mount.
    Let others know your findings.
