I've just recently started getting this behavior in my auto 3.4. While driving down the highway at around 60-70 the revs will randomly jump up from just under 2k to like 2100-2200 and then fairly quickly settle back down to just under 2k again. Any ideas? Wondering if it just needs new fluid, or maybe the colder weather is causing it.

Flat ground or only uphill? Is it "random" but actually only happens when your turn signal is on?

Happens on flat ground and I don't believe it's happening with the turn signal on.

Ok. The rpm rise is 99% likely to be your torque convertor unlocking. They unlock for a few different reasons, one of which is touching your brakes. A bad ground on your signals can send enough voltage the computer thinks you've touched your brake pedal. A failing switch can do the the same.

Hmmm... Think ABS could cause it? Have an intermittent ABS light.
