2006 4.0 6 speed, I just picked up the truck and have read about the rev hang and am learning to drive around it. I noticed today that when I came to a stop light or pushed in the clutch and slowed down the engine would Rev to around 2k just before I would stop (from 20 to about 0 mph) and as soon as I stop the revs go back to normal. This is a little annoying but I more or less want to see if its normal or if I have a vacuum leak. Everything else seems fine, no check engine light. It will hang the rpm in neutral around 1500 while coasting but as soon as you stop it comes down to idle. I have read that this is okay. Any help would be awesome, everyone so far on here has been great.

My third gen does the same thing since new, I just assumed it was normal. Curious to see what others have to say. Bump.
